How did she get here? That's a question that Vespa has to stand answer for for too often, surely awaiting Judgement at the long end of her unserious and questionable, her entirely random and entirely illogical choices. Or ... perhaps, Judgement is already awaiting her in this moment, seeing the long line of listless Slowpokes, and their executioner.[break]

Thankfully, she isn't in this alone - and the words of Cian are reassuring, at least. This isn't real, this isn't real ... but she still isn't able to fully get rid of the churning feeling in her stomach. "I guess, but - still-" she mutters back, staring in shock - and nodding in defiant agreement when Cian speaks up. "Yeah, we ain't doing that!"[break]

It seems that defiance leads only to this outcome - run, run, run! It's cool in the sense that she has thought about making a run for it, anyway, but it's less cool as she feels trapped in one of those Horror RPGs that have chase sequences that she always gets jumpscared at. "Y-yeah, but also like, the heck - aliens?!" What the heck is this scenario even about?! Some dystopian future, maybe? But ... that is really an odd one for sure. Or maybe, it'll be how their descendants will have to live like (not 'hers' in particular, though).[break]

Before she can follow suit on Cian's words fully, escape a capture and go full prison break (kitchen ver.), she quickly grabs at least one of the listless Slowpokes and then makes a run for it. "Aye, let's - that door, maybe-!"
